Our experience had some issues, but the staff did their best to help us throughout.
We booked a Jeep Wrangler for a 3-week road trip, but when we arrived we were told it wasn’t available because the vehicles needed servicing. We were offered a free upgrade to a Ford Mustang Convertible 2.3 EcoBoost, which we accepted and used to start our trip.
The next day we returned to the airport and successfully swapped it for a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2.0, which was great. However, that Jeep later showed an engine temperature warning, so we had to exchange it again in Salt Lake City. Fortunately, we were able to get the same model again.
The staff was always friendly and tried to resolve every issue, but having to swap cars twice during a long road trip was quite inconvenient. We hope the vehicles are better checked before being rented out. Overall good service and people, but the experience didn’t go smoothly.
The pickup process was very smooth. I received an email letting me know where to go and exactly how everything would work. ALL the staff were very helpful and super nice—whether it was during pickup, when I was leaving the garage, or when I returned the car. Definitely a recommendation!

I rented a Mustang, and everything went perfectly — the car was clean, in great condition, and exactly as expected. No issues at all during pickup or return.
If you're looking for a reliable rental experience near LAX, this place is definitely worth considering.

I had a highly frustrating experience with this location regarding vehicle safety and communication.
We were leased a rental car that, upon closer inspection a day into driving it, was found to have two damaged tires. This is a significant safety oversight that should have been caught during a standard pre-rental inspection before the car was allowed on the road.
When I brought this to the attention of the branch, the manager, Nathan, assured me he would follow up with his senior manager to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, that follow-up never happened, and communication completely stopped on their end.
Fortunately, our credit card company reviewed our photographic evidence of the pre-existing damage and fully resolved the dispute in our favor. While the financial side is taken care of, the lack of thorough vehicle inspections and the unfulfilled promises of management mean I will be choosing other rental options in the future.
Inspect your vehicles carefully before leaving this lot. Do not leave their lot without pictures.

Rented a BMW X1 to drive for the week - cannot recommend Sixt enough. They were organized, friendly and efficient. I loved the mobile pick up. It made everything very seamless and I also appreciated the emails they sent to keep me informed on where to go, how to drop off, and payment. It was my first time renting with Sixt and I will be using them in the future thank you so much for the great experience!!! They are the best and I enjoyed the experience more than the other car rental places
