On drop off day Jackie was the one to help me and once again I loved the very attentive customer service.

Thanks to my Fiat 500e and FCA's Access program, I get 512 rental credits a year for Enterprise, National, and Alamo rental cars. Due to the fact that I didn't need A rental car I decided to do with a lot of other Fiat owners do and rent a exotic car for a weekend. A lot of people have had great experiences at locations in LA and orange county. However nobody had experience using the program in San Diego yet. I reached out to Ethan at the Exotic location off Balboa, and he did some even more research for me and went beyond the call of duty to make sure everything was very hassle free. He and I were in constant communication via text and offered me a sublime variety of exotic cars to have for the weekend, and I ended up taking a Corvette convertible. The pick up process was very easy, Eric and Ethan kept me updated on when the car would be ready for pick up and were there on a Saturday making sure it's all clean for my arrival. The Corvette convertible was awesome I'm surprised that car has so much power even though it's not even a Z06. I honestly wish I could keep the car longer, as I fell in love with the sound of the V8 made and the gobs of torque that engine provided. The eight speed automatic was surprisingly fantastic and the car was very easy to operate. After a couple hours with it, I was already shopping on craigslist for used C7 Corvettes. The drop off process was bittersweet; it was very easy, but I didn't want to have to say goodbye! Ethan and Eric are class acts and I highly recommend anyone who wants something a little better than a "normal" rental car to visit them. I've never experienced that level of service at a rental car agency. I can't wait to rent from them again.
Ana is awesome! SD Exotics, great customer service and made sure my car to car transition was seamless.
Although they have many cars, Lemon Grove has way better customer service. Ethan & Andre were great, Akee was informative and Jamie tried but that little Indonesian lady and Brandon were a turn away. I was going to rent again with them but hurried to take my car back and use their competitor.
Update: in the effort to be transparent, Rachel (new manager) did reach out and apologize to me. She did let me know that Ethan is no longer with Enterprise so I guess that concern is no longer an issue.

The short version: The manager, Ethan Sutton, is extremely unprofessional and damages the brand’s image overall. His assistant manager, Molly, is a one woman show that has to play super hero and fix Ethan’s mistakes. I would avoid this place like the plague unless you get a 100% promise that Ethan will not touch your reservation.
The long version: I setup a reservation back in Feb 2017 for July 2017 to use at my wedding and called twice to ensure that everything was ready to go. Ethan assured me that everything was fine, and got a little annoyed after my 2nd (and finally call) call 2 weeks before I needed the car. Show up the day I was supposed to pickup the car, they have no record of the reservation... evidently Enterprise Exotic and Enterprise car rental share a lot. Only the Exotic staff could access my reservation and no one was there.
Luckily I have Ethan’s number and try calling and texting him. He has an iPhone and I know he’s reading my text but not responding... I finally get a text back after almost an hour of trying to get a hold of him with something along the lines of how he is busy at a wedding... Totally understand, weddings are important, like MY OWN I AM TRYING TO GET TO. At this point I am livid, I paid a premium for this service and did my due diligence to ensure that things are done properly. Ethan can’t seem to understand the fact that I have my own wedding to get to and continues to ignore me. Finally, Molly (God bless that woman) shows up and fixes Ethan’s mess. She admits that she’s the Assistant Manager of the location and that it’s also her responsibility that this whole fiasco happened. Which I must say I disagree with, prior to meeting her in person I never knew she existed. Her and I had never spoken on the phone. Molly generously offers me an upgrade which I decline, I seriously just need to leave to get to my wedding. I do ask her Ethan’s work hours for the following day so I may speak to him. I also text him saying that I would like to speak with him about the whole process the following day and tell him the time I will be at his office. I show up the next day during his work hours and ask to speak with him, Molly is there and informs me that he isn’t in right now and she doesn’t know when he’ll be back, but she can help me. I mean seriously this woman is SUPERWOMAN, her boss doesn’t have the guts to contact me or see me when I show up to speak with him but here she is dealing with everything. She apologizes on his behalf, which I do appreciate but he knows how to contact me directly. Molly then offers to give me 50% off the entire contract amount, which I seriously wasn’t expecting.
I’m honestly shocked by the lack of service provided by Ethan as a manager. It seriously made the whole rental experience a nightmare, I have rented many times in the SD area and always use Hertz instead.
